A warm and caring welcome greets you in Ty Mawr, from Anne and her family where you can relax and enjoy your holiday in Anglesey. The 19th century farmhouse, on our 300 acre dairy farm is large, comfortable and tastefully furnished with antiques. Set in a lovely garden with south facing aspect, the house is surrounded by pastureland with an uninterrupted vista towards the Snowdonian mountain range. The spacious twin bedded room has colour TV, wash hand basin, beverage tray and 3 piece suite. The double bedded room has a colour TV, wash hand basin, beverage tray and 2 armchairs.Both rooms have comfortable beds and offer a truly restful atmosphere. A cooked or continental breakfast can be enjoyed in an elegant dining room. The village of Valley is half a mile away on the A5 road, where there are good shops, bank, chemist and many places to eat. Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn are five minutes by car on the B4545, where there are good , sandy beaches for safe bathing and all types of water sports. South Stack cliffs is an ideal venue for bird watching. Pathways encircling the island's coastline can be enjoyed by walkers. Holyhead is 4 miles away where there is an excellent golf course and sailing facilities in the harbour. The port of Holyhead has sailings to Ireland several times a day to Dun Laoghaire and Dublin.
The entrance to Ty Mawr is on the roundabout off the A5 road, half a mile east of the B4545 & A5025 junction. From the A55 road take exit No. 3 for Valley.
