Cerrig y Barcud is in an idyllic setting set well back from a quiet country lane with uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding countryside including the mountains of Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula from which the cottages take their names. Four cottages were brand new for the 2008 season, and the remaining four have all been fully refurbished for the 2009 season

Located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just 300 metres from the Menai Straits and positioned opposite the mainland town of Caernarfon and its Castle. The cottages are ideally located for exploring the area, eating out, walking and relaxing.

Despite their peaceful setting, our cottages are only 10 minutes from the Britannia Bridge, so that the attractions of both Anglesey and North Wales are within easy reach. Furthermore, Cerrig y Barcud is ideally located between two of the island’s most popular family attractions – Foel Farm Park and the Anglesey Sea Zoo.

· Yr Wyddfa Cottage
Brand new for 2008 – a beautifully appointed two storey cottage sleeping up to six guests in three bedrooms. Exceptionally comfortable and spacious with fantastic views

· Yr Eifl Cottage
A two – storey cottage with flexible accommodation – sleeps up to 5 guests in three bedrooms. A verandah off the main bedroom has superb views across the Menai Straits to Snowdonia

· Elidir Cottage
A single storey cottage with a large walk-in shower room. Sleeps up to 4 guests in two bedrooms located at either end of the cottage to provide individual privacy

· Carnedd, Mynydd and Crib Goch Cottages
Each of these brand new in 2008. Single storey cottages sleeping up to 4 guests in two bedrooms at either end of the cottage. Each has a spacious shower room, and an open plan kitchen, dining and living area

· Glyder Cottage
A single storey cottage sleeping two guests in comfort. The bedroom has a king sized bed, with a bathroom en-suite

· Tryfan Cottage
A compact single storey cottage sleeping two guests, with an en-suite shower room
